Why We Started No Pet Policy

When Bela retired from her job as an Explosive Detection Police K9, everything changed. For years, we couldn’t go out together — no brunches, no bars, no beach walks — because she was a working dog and belonged to the Police Department, not to me.But once she retired, she was finally mine. We could go anywhere. The only problem? I didn’t know where to go. I had no idea which places were actually pet-friendly.That’s when I decided to start No Pet Policy — to visit every place I could, find out who truly welcomes pets, and share it with everyone. Because it feels amazing to enjoy those simple moments — having a coffee, a beer, or a walk — with your dog by your side.Now, thanks to Bela, we’re building a community where pets are always welcome.
